Inventory of paediatric medicines – Cardiovascular therapeutic area
The Paediatric Committee (PDCO) is working to identify the needs in the different therapeutic areas where there should be research and development of medicinal products for children. This will allow companies to identify opportunities for business development, the PDCO to judge the need for medicines and studies when assessing draft paediatric investigation plans, waivers and deferrals and healthcare professionals and patients to have an information source available to support their decisions as to which medicines to choose. This inventory covers medicines for cardiovascular diseases.
