Eurofound presents findings on working conditions in Slovenia
Workers in Slovenia report working more hours, lower levels of satisfaction with working conditions, experiencing higher job insecurity, as well as more presenteeism and less absenteeism. The majority of respondents reported experiencing stress at work (78.9%) and overall fatigue was a major issues for more than 40%. Meanwhile, violence and harassment in Slovenia is on average at similar levels as in the rest of Europe. The extended module of the 5th European Working Conditions Survey will be presented in Slovenia today. The report is aimed at helping policymakers improve working conditions in Slovenia, both at the level of legislative framework and the management and organisation of work in workplaces.
