With a proposed budget of up to €50 billion between 2014-2020, the whole Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) (see IP/11/1200) is specifically designed to promote growth, jobs and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at European level. It will support the roll-out of high-performing, sustainable and joined-up trans-European networks in the fields of transport, energy, and broadband & digital services.
