The EU's budgets and what the priorities should be will be discussed by MEPs during the plenary session in Strasbourg on 22-23 October. They will look at next year's budget as well as the long-term budget for 2014-2020 ahead of negotiations with the Council and the Commission. In addition they will discuss passenger rights, the European Council summit on 18-19 October and the European Year of Citizens 2013.
