This conference is very timely. European governments and citizens are waiting for decisions taken by the European leaders on a more integrated Europe, on the Pact for Growth and on the solutions needed to get out of this serious crisis. After the next European Summit on 19 and 20 October, Member States will be able to decide what solutions they can create, together, to boost European growth.
