Today, its time to take a good cold hard look at the EU, and how the new post Lisbon EU state has started to impose its will and its influence on us here in the UK.

My colleague James Higham has produced a well researched, well linked, 3 part factual presentation on the state of the union as it relates to the UK today, a very long and very detailed explanation that outlines the potential dangers that face the continued existence of the UK, with examples and the legal challenges that present themselves.

Britain is changing, our politicians try desperately to hide this change invoked by the EU under various guises, as their own party policy, as global pressures, as incompetence by their opponents, but reading through all of James’ work, you can clearly see that very little of it is home grown, its a majority change imported from Brussels.

It has always been the method of the European ‘project’ to hide as much detailed information as possible from the public, only presenting small amounts of legislation and rules, usually served in a manner that only explains economic benefit without detailing the loss of rights, freedoms and sovereignty, and this is an attempt to rectify some of that imbalance.

I urge you to read James’ works carefully, because it could have profound implications on the way you see politicians, parties and may even affect the way you end up voting at the next election.

I hope that you find it thought provoking, will make you ask more questions, and become less inclined to believe without questioning everything that you read in the newspapers or watch on the BBC news.

I am also aware that many of my readers are pro-EU supporters, with some still arguing that we still retain the tools to manage our own destiny. I think you will find that the facts as presented by James may give pause for thought, even make some of you question the way in which this new state operates, and to ask whether this is right or not for the public good.
